Heavy Hors d'œuvre


Last night we went to the final good-bye party for the no-so-beloved CEO of South Peninsula Hospital, C.F. It was billed not as a dinner but as Heavy Hors d'oeuvres. There was shrimp and oysters and these fantastic roast beef rolls with some kind of curry cream cheese in the middle. There was also a lot of alcohol and a lot of drunk people.

I'm sneaking this posting as we are preparing to spend the weekend at the cabin and I need to wash the dishes and pack and act busy before Vince gets home with Valda's snow machine. I'll write more about the roast beef with curry cream cheese when we get back.
