This came today from Saipan, carved by our Yapese family. It is just fantastic and says, "Vincent and Alana" and "Yap Stone Money" The carving is of a traditional stone monument called a latte stone. No one knows for sure the purpose of them but they are huge and are a symbol of
the Northern Mariana Islands. The Ring on the top of the Latte stone represents Yap, the Land of Stone Money. It is a wonderful gift! I love it! Thank you!
