This weekend marks the 8th Anniversary of The Greears becoming a family. Until 8 years ago it was just Alana and Vince enjoying each other, having a lot of time and quiet on their hands. And then came The Wonder, God's Own Creation, forever enhancing our experiance on this Earth. We mark the day August 31 with a special family holiday where we all work together to plan what we should do to celebrate. We've had some fun times... Dog Fish Bay, Anchorage, but we seem to be most enjoying the car ride to Kenai/Nikiski where we (hold your breath) eat at McDonald's Playland and then go to the Nikiski Rec Center for an afternoon of water sliding. This year we are lucky to celebrate on the weekend and so today we went on a boat ride to Halibut Cove Lagoon. The fun in the sun can be seen on the embedded slide show.
