That's right! The season of the tree has officially begun! Jolly St. Donny stood by with radar hat to receive directions from the trimming gods... HAMarina has really become grown up and was fully taking charge of the tree building operation. She made sure that we properly fluffed every branch before she inserted it onto the tree. I can not help but think of the Pedley's every year when we set up this tree. It has been serving us well!
Last year we happened to be at Fred Meyer on a major, "dump our Christmas inventory" day. Vince went a little crazy buying lights and now we have enough lights to last us until the kids are all graduated from college. Does this mean we won't buy more the next time we are at Fred Meyer on the inventory dumping day? Heavens No!
We decided that this year we are going for the blue and white snowflake lights to begin with. Of course, this business took so long that we all went to bed before we hung any of the orniments.
