Sunrise
It is one of the most fascinating aspects of the Alaskan winter.
Is it as fabulous in other parts of the world? Or is it just that in most other parts of the world people arn't awake to watch it.

It's funny. We travel half way around the world to watch a sunrise against mountains or canyons, statues or temples, and we stare in amazement and wonder. When really, the sunrise in our very own backyards are every bit as breath taking. Maybe even something we would see on a postcard if the light catches just so behind some leaves, or a flower. :)
Your Alaskan sunrise does look beautiful.
Thank you Des, sometimes we forget to look around... I appriciate your insight. Alana
